Eleven completed pieces as of late 2025 with others planned or in progress. This series emerged from a singular painting that resonated with my connection to nature, where stones became a powerful subject for expression.
Stones I – Vibration (Nature) – The title for this abstract painting was inspired by a photo I had taken of stones beneath running water in the backcountry (Ghost PLUZ). This set the inspiration / vibration for the Stone Series. Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
Stones II – Heart Rock (Love) – The painting embodies exploration of the wilderness and personal relationships. Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
Stones III – The Abyss Of Tranquility (Meditation) – The imagery came to me during a meditation session one morning. The title came to me later during another meditation session. This painting is about how we connect to the unknown, through methods such as meditation. “Be here painting, don’t be somewhere else” I would often tell myself throughout the process. This painting was about being something, rather than being like or resembling something. Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
Stones IV – I Am The Sun (Positivity) – “I visualize negativity in all forms crumble apart into pieces as it nears me. In this state nothing can penetrate the shield of positivity I have created around my being. Fragments gently blown away into another direction away from me. I am the Sun.” The words in quotation came to me one morning while watching the sun rise on the horizon. The painting was inspired by the words and the moment. Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
Stones V – Matter Of Invisibility (Science / Spirituality) – “Everything Is From The Sun – it created, but there was no one to see the magnificence of it all. Then it created you, the creator of it all.” Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
Stones VI – Replication (Cellular) – This painting reflects my fascination with the unseen cellular activity within my body, inspired by the stones of Ghost (PLUZ) and a mental vision of life’s microscopic realm. . Oil on Canvas 30″ x 40″
Stones VII – Who Am I? (Gratitude) – An ode to Bob Proctor. I was working on improving my outlook on life, searching for and watching positive things on the internet, how to improve my mental and physical well-being. Came across some Earl Nightingale videos and enjoyed watching them, this led me to searching for more. Early in my search I came across Bob Proctor and became drawn into what he had to say. I am so grateful for people like Bob who share positivity, wisdom and knowledge. This painting began with a few of his favorite illustrations of the mind and body, stonework and observers worked in around that foundation. Thanks Bob! Oil on Canvas 30” x 40”

Stones IX – Become (Thought) – The power of thought, a reflection of the belief that you become what you think about. Inspired by a strong desire to paint, I created this work as if an unknown force flowed through me, allowing myself to become. Oil on Canvas 40″ x 60″
